Prof. Dr. Stefan Selke lehrt »Gesellschaftlichen Wandel« an der Hochschule Furtwangen und ist Forschungsprofessor für »Transformative und öffentliche Wissenschaft«. Er studierte Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik und promovierte später in Soziologie. Als disziplinärer Grenzgänger und öffentlicher Soziologie ist Selke als Redner, Buchautor sowie als Gesprächspartner der Medien auch außerhalb der Wissenschaft präsent.
Er ist Preisträger des Wolfgang-Heilmann-Preises der Integrata-Stiftung 2021 zum Thema »Humane Utopie als Gestaltungsrahmen für die Nach-Corona-Gesellschaft«.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Selke teaches “societal transformation” at Furtwangen University and is a research professor for “transformative and public sciences.” He studied aviation and aerospace technology before getting his PhD in sociology.
As interdisciplinary scholar and public sociologist, Selke is also active outside of the academic sphere as a speaker, author as well as guest in the media.
Selke won the Integrata Association’s Wolfgang Heilmann Award in 2021 for “Humane Utopias as a Framework for Post-Corona Society.”
